TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG

·

That was the question……

I’m not too sure about doing this. It seems a bit self-indulgent. I hope, however, that some of the musings and thoughts will be of interest and/or use. I stress immediately that it is no part of my aim in doing this to be rude to or about anyone. Nor am I suggesting that my view is in some way preferable to others which contradict me. I am certainly not looking for a punch-up with anyone.

If you don’t know me, then I can sum myself up in the following paragraph:

Short, cuddly middle-aged King’s Counsel. Practices in Crime and Inquest law. Head of Chambers at Lamb Building (in London and Brighton) as well as an associate tenant at Central Chambers Manchester. Honorary Professor of Law at University of Kent. Director of Studies at Middle Temple’s Advocacy School. Bencher of Middle Temple. Have been chosen to be Treasurer in 2026. West Ham Supporter. Judo 6th Dan. Born and bred in the East End of London. Comprehensive School in Newham. Degree from City of London Polytechnic. Dad was a caretaker, Mum was an administrative officer. Proud of my roots and dedicated to a legal system that is fair and where everyone has a voice. Committed to inclusion, equality and diversity, celebrating and encouraging excellence and trying to do so with a light touch and a kind heart.

So, read on as my musings develop, if you wish. If not, I wish you “Bon voyage” and thanks for dropping in.
